CDS usage statisticsThe CESAR Database System (CDS) did support some basic "accounting" statistics. The logins of the individual users were registered as well as the downloads of datafiles. From these records, stored in the CDS database, a number of summaries about users, their logins and downloads were available in the CDS Statistics (CDSS) portal. Here only some final statistics is presented, summarising the usage near the close down of the CDS. If an obsolete dataset (version) was removed from the database the downloads of that dataset were still included in the overall download statistics The first version of the CDSS was developed by Marc Savenije. His version was only available for internal use at KNMI. The present version is based on Marc's implementation but was coded, extended and maintained by Henk Klein Baltink.
